The Milk & Honey Tapes are proving to be a series of personal songs written, recorded, and produced by artist and songwriter, Joshua C.S. (Joshua Caleb Smith). These latest songs entitled, “Soothe My Soul” and “Where I Lay My Hat Down” are stories about family and love, and the relationships that make us who we are, at least who the artist is.
Milk & Honey Tapes are not the only thing that the artist is working on at the moment. He has been performing this summer, and just recorded vocals at Fame Studio in Muscle Shoals, Alabama with friend and musical colleague, Lamar Williams Jr. The two are tracking a song called, “I Can Hear My Train Calling”, written by C.S. performed as a duet.
